當偶像團體S.H.E碰上知名百老匯音樂劇「獅子王」，會擦出什麼火花？3日晚上，S.H.E前往台北小巨蛋觀看「獅子王」，她們表示已經看過動畫版本，覺得很感人，這回親眼觀賞音樂劇，早就準備衛生紙想好好哭一場，感性的Ella說，看到已逝的獅子王木法沙，以靈魂對話鼓勵小辛巴的那一幕，她瞬間熱淚盈眶，「突然感覺很想哭」！

表演結束後，S.H.E直趨後台和飾演「狒狒女巫」拉飛奇、刀疤叔叔的演員互動，頻頻稱讚「Good Show！」「Wonderful！」劇中邪惡的刀疤叔叔，還故意伸出長長的爪子，嚇得Selina尖叫。在劇中講了不少中文台詞的狒狒女巫，十分活潑，雖然雙方語言不通，搞笑的Ella一見到她，主動自我介紹歌手身分，還模仿她用國語說「不明白」，氣氛相當和樂，在對方熱情邀請下，S.H.E還唱了一段「中國話」，贏得不少掌聲。

「獅子王」劇場式表演集結眾多演員，團體合作再現經典，連走路踮起腳尖、亦步亦趨的姿勢，都展現深厚的芭蕾舞基礎，S.H.E對每個成員表現都讚不絕口，「他們的肌肉、肢體，詮釋動物的感覺維妙維肖」。

3位小妮子也展現對音樂劇的濃厚興趣，雖然臉上得塗滿顏料，穿著厚重道具服，但Hebe表示：「只要時間許可，有機會能參與演出，當然是至高無上的榮耀，要我演一支小草都好！」Selina則謙稱，他們經過長期舞蹈訓練，「我這把年紀恐怕不行了！」Ella最喜愛劇中小辛巴的好友狐「丁滿」，牠輕鬆活潑、始終樂觀的態度，最符合S.H.E的健康形象。

S.H.E Almost Cried When Watching the Performance[2008.08.05]

When pop idol group S.H.E met up with famous Broadway musical [The Lion King], what type of sparks would be ignited? In the evening of August 3rd, S.H.E attended a performance of [The Lion King] at the Taipei Arena. They indicated that they had already seen the animated version and felt that it was very touching. This time for watching the live musical, they had prepared lots of Kleenex for a good cry. The sensitive Ella said that when she saw the spirit of the deceased lion king Mufasa speaking to encourage little Simba, tears immediately filled her eyes, [Suddenly I really wanted to cry]!

After the performance ended, S.H.E went directly backstage to meet with the actors who played the mandrill Rafiki and Scar and praised the performance as being [wonderful] and [good show!]. Scar from the musical even intentionally extended his long claws which had Selina screaming. Rafiki who spoke a fair amount of Chinese dialogue was very outgoing. Even though both parties had language barriers, as soon as the humorous Ella saw her, she took the initiative to self-introduce her singer identity and even imitated Rafiki saying [Don’t understand] in Mandarin. The atmosphere was quite genial. At the enthusiastic invitation of the other party, S.H.E even won applauses by singing a verse of [Chinese Words].

The stage musical performance of [The Lion King] involved many actors. It was truly a group effort to present the classic as a musical. Even when the actors walked on their tiptoes and the way they followed each other’s steps all demonstrated their extensive ballet training. S.H.E had high praises for all the performers. [The way they used their muscles and bodies to interpret the movement of animals was so realistic.]

The trio also demonstrated a deep interest in musicals. Even though there were heavy make-up on the face and the costumes were very heavy, but Hebe indicated: [As long as time permits, if there is a chance to participate in the performance, of course that would be the highest honor. I would even be willing to portray a blade of grass.] Selina said humbly that they (the performers) had received long-term dance training, [Given my age, I am afraid I won’t be able to do it!] Ella’s favorite character from the musical was little Simba’s best friend Timon the meerkat. Its easy, active and always optimistic attitude was most fitting to the healthy image of S.H.E.
