Pop Idol Singers SHE, like normal young people, eat take-out for all three meals but they also have their own methods and principles when it comes to protecting the Earth, such as carrying with them reusable chopsticks and water bottles. By setting an example themselves, they hope to influence their fans to follow suit. Today they came to Tze Chi Communication and Cultural Foundation to share their views on protecting the environment, and at the same time, to ask the advice of experts on how to change lifestyles and attitudes so that Earth can be better.

Do they have Carbon Reduction awareness? Let’s test and see. Although they are young, they are determined regarding protecting the environment. But all talk and no action is meaningless. SHE, by using reusable utensils and cups themselves, speak out on the behalf of protecting the Earth’s resources.

As they share what they do in protecting the environment in their daily lives, they also ask the advice of experts and absorb new information. From eating, clothing, housing to transportation, if each person can decrease gluttony slightly, the burden placed on the Earth’s resources would be lessen.

Other than setting an example themselves, SHE also hoped that their fans would also practice carbon reduction in their daily lives. To live a carbon reduced life is not as difficult as imagined. It only requires better understanding, more thoughts and practice. Then, not only the streets will be cleansed and Earth be protected, even one’s own heart will be cleansed as well.
